Welcome to the Essence of Now! The Essence of Now is a photography-based meme, using pictures to tell the story of the everyday moments of our lives.
We decided, at the last minute, to send the boy to one more week of camp. I missed him. A lot. But I was able to get some work done.
And the baby seemed to enjoy her time with me.
She also practiced her baby stunts.
But her brother apparently wanted some quality time too. See how this bed is empty?
That’s because he wasn’t napping in it. Even though, clearly, he needed to be.
By the end of the day, we were all glad to see Dad arrive home.

My guy fell asleep sitting on the steps yesterday. He wasn’t tired when he headed up them, but apparently got tired on his way up.

My oldest girl could never be found in her crib at naptime at that age. We’d find her all over the room – in a chair, in a pile of books, under the crib
