This is an installment in my Essence of Now series. I hope you enjoy it.
Earlier in the week, before the heat set in, the boy played with his new umbrella and rain boots.
And he and his dad went backyard camping. Much to everyone’s surprise, they spent the entire night in the tent.
The girl is continuing to work on her mobility. When she hears her dad come home from work, she pulls herself across the floor to greet him. And he seems more than happy to sit down and return the greeting.
Happy Solstice. I love these summer days. Even with the record heat and humidity.
What’s going on in your home?

So much joy and love. Have a lovely summer.

Wonderful shots! Especially love the umbrella with the bunny in the picture. Great capture. This DC heat is CRAZY!
Nice! We haven’t had much summer yet. Love the light in these.

How fun to go backyard camping. Especially for you since you can sleep inside on your own bed.

I love the first shot – so adorable!
Camping scares me – I hate bugs, and the outdoors in general, and had some pretty interesting experiences with camping as a kid.
I would let the kids camp in the yard though!
Beautiful photos, you!
{Seriously breath taking!}
