This is an installment in my Essence of Now series. I hope you enjoy it.
My husband and our son went to visit the chickens we hatched this spring over the weekend. Everyone seemed to be doing well.
The baby and I stayed home. I practiced with the camera and took a self-portrait. When I look at it, I see happiness.
The baby is still working on crawling. She commando crawls (swims?) throughout the house.
She’s getting quite good.
But sometimes we all need a little encouragement before tackling big obstacles, don’t we?
What’s going on in your house?

I love “seeing you” in that picture!!!

Thanks, Robin! It’s almost entirely filled in. She’s such a big girl these days.
Beautiful photos. Yes, even the chicken ones were pretty.
But the baby shots were my fave. I call it “The Military Crawl.” My baby was doing that too. It’s not until he turned 10 months (a few weeks ago) that he actually started “real” crawling. Aren’t they just the most adorable things? AND, they sure are fast movers!
