Lauren Nicole Gifts is a small, family-owned business that hand makes custom artisan jewelry and gifts. The owner of the company, Denise, designs and makes each piece to order.  She offers a beautiful range to choose from: hand stamped silver jewelry, mommy jewelry, wax seal jewelry, and many other unique designs, including Little Artist jewelry showcasing your child’s artwork. Her charms and pendants are pure silver, and her chains are sterling silver. She can personalize many pieces with the names, initials, dates, or other meaningful words and phrases of your choice. On the hand stamped pieces, the letters are stamped individually by hand, ensuring that no two pieces are alike. Denise makes everything in  the U.S., and her husband is an active duty member of the United States Army.

Recently, I was lucky enough to review a wonderful—and completely personal–Footprint Charm.  When I was choosing a piece to review, I was a little concerned because I completely fell in love with the Footprint Charms.  What a lovely way to preserve your child’s footprint. They are so precious—the moment I saw them, I knew I wanted one. BUT, my son is 2. Let’s be honest, his toddler size 8 feet don’t seem as sweet as they used to. I was worried I missed the window, that, like professional photographs or clay imprints, it was one more thing I didn’t remember to do in my newborn haze.

But I shouldn’t have been concerned. I asked Denise what she recommended, and she offered me two options.  I could email her a scan of his footprints that they made at the hospital or she could provide me with instructions to take current footprints. I was thrilled. I sent her a copy of his newborn footprints right away. Denise also offered to personalize the back of the charm. We added the his initials and his date of birth.

Within a couple days, my Footprint Charm arrived. It is gorgeous. And personal. And completely unique. It’s solid, as a silver piece should be. It looks great on a necklace or bracelet and works on either. And the best part is my son’s little foot is perfectly preserved. For the rest of my life (and even when he’s bigger than I am), I will have this lovely memento of my baby from the day he was born. I’m clearly going to have to order one when the new baby arrives too.

All in all, I couldn’t be happier.
